The NVIDIA Jetson Orin modules distinguish themselves through their high energy efficiency and outstanding performance. The AI computers execute up to 275 trillion operations per second (TOPS) and are therefore 8-times more powerful than the previous versions. Like this, they represent the ideal solution for companies to develop autonomous machines in the periphery. The modules are devided into three series.
Jetson Orin Nano-Series
The smallest series of the Jetson Orin sets the new standards for Edge-AI in the entry level. With an AI performance of 40 TOPS and a configurable performance of 7W and 15W, there has been a clear improvement in comparison to the previous module. As CPU the 6-Core Arm® Cortex®-A78AE v8.2 64-Bit is used.
Jetson Orin NX-Series
Jetson Orin NX-Modules provide an AI performance up to 100 TOPS as well as a configurable performance of 10W and 25W. The CPU depends on the memory capacity of the Orin-NX and is either the 6-Core Arm® Cortex®-A78AE v8.2 64-Bit-CPU or the 8-Core Arm® Cortex®-A78AE v8.2 64-Bit-CPU.
Jetson AGX Orin-Series
For robotics and other autonomous machines the AGX-Series provides an AI performance of up to 275 TOPS and a configurable performance between 15W and 60W. As CPU also Arm® Cortex® processors are used — namely, the 8-Core Arm® Cortex®-A78AE v8.2 64-Bit-CPU or the 12-Core Arm® Cortex®-A78AE v8.2 64-Bit-CPU.
