The MPCxxx / ST SPCE5 microcontrollers are designed for almost all automotive applications.

What sets the MPCxxx and SPCE5 microcontrollers apart, is their innovative Power Architecture® technology.

NXP's MPCxxx microcontrollers represent 32-bit devices specifically designed for motor management, ADAS,central body and gateway applications. The NXP MCUs cover a wide range of different models.

The MPC56xx, MPC57xx and MPS58xx series is designed for industrial powertrain, engine management, engine control, body control, gateway, chassis and safety, instrument cluster and display management applications. The further models of the NXP S32R family support the highly integrated Power Architecture® for scalable automotive and industrial radar applications.

ST's SPC5 family of 32-bit automotive microcontrollers can also be used for a wide range of automotive applications. These vary, for example, from gateways, electromobility and ADAS to engine and transmission control, body, chassis and safety. Additionally based on Power Architecture® technology, the SPC5 microcontrollers provide up to three cores. Their frequency reaches up to 200MHz.
