ProMik's cooperation with the 32-bit TRAVEO™ T2G Arm® Cortex® Microcontroller

To be ready for the new complexity of comfort features and other ADAS applications, Infineon is introducing the new MCU production line - the TRAVEO™ T2G - following the integration of Cypress. Based on the Arm® Cortex®-M4/M7 core, the 32-bit TRAVEO™ T2G Arm® Cortex® microcontroller offers high performance, human-machine interfaces, high security, and advanced networking protocols. The Arm-Cortex M4 and M7 cores enable up to 8 MB of integrated flash memory, delivering robust performance.

The Traveo II family is designed to meet even the most advanced requirements for high-performance driving assistance systems. With processing power and network connectivity integrated into a single Arm® Cortex®- M4F and dual Cortex®- M7F, the microcontroller family offers up to 8MB of integrated flash and an enhanced performance of 1500 DMIPS.

The microcontrollers feature a variety of interfaces including CAN FD, Ethernet and FlexRay, which are also supported by ProMik. The family offers scalability via memory size and pin count as well. IP compatibility allows customers to design and develop their system with a MCU solution on a single platform. Traveo II devices have advanced security features through the HSM (hardware security module), dedicated Cortex®-M0+ for secure processing, and embedded flash in dual-bank mode for FOTA requirements. With the help of ProMik and the close cooperation with the customer, cyber security solutions, that are individually adapted to customer requirements, are now possible.
